About Me

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in Oakland, CA
Supervised by Elysha Martinez LMFT #9349
I show up here first as a human who is no stranger to the ups and downs of the human experience. In my own personal work, I have navigated the challenges of anxiety and perfectionism. The difficult task of finding my own voice, the discomfort of facing biases, acknowledging privilege, and the difficult journey of accepting and finding a place for the wounds and early experiences that have shaped me
I began my journey as a therapist working with women struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. I have had the privilege of working with individuals within the hospital setting, providing Expressive Arts Therapy treatment to patients by the bed side and in other treatment areas. Facilitated Expressive Art Therapy groups within a variety of community clinics, within the Contra Costa County jail and worked within the educational system providing therapy for adolescents, teens and families.
I believe that the key to successful psychotherapy is the therapeutic relationship. My aim is to be an unwavering ally on your healing journey. My therapy style is compassionate, creative, gentle, and informative. I honor your process and work with you to develop a unique treatment plan to support you in seeing, being and knowing yourself.
